In-Person CPR Classes for Renewing AHA Certification

How to register for a CPR class

Online:

• • Go to www.edcor.net (this is our main website)
  • Select the “My Account” button either log in or create an account
    • When creating an account, you will need to select PASCO as your affiliation. This can be found under “affiliation info” when creating your account
  • After registration, be sure to click the “Affiliation/Employer” link at the top of your screen and select the PASCO affiliation when searching
  • Click on the “Search Scheduled Classes” button on the home page
  • Once on the Scheduled Classes home page, scroll down to the search criteria on the left and update based upon what you are looking for:
    • Select Period: Upcoming Classes
    • Month: Select desired month
    • Class Type: Select BLS Renewal
    • Click Search and then scroll through options
    • Select the @ PASCO class

Call Edcor:

1. Call EdCor at 303.997.8695
2. Ask to register for the CPR renewal certification
3. Notify Edcor you are a PASCO employee

Other important information:

• You are welcome to sign up for an Edcor CPR class at an Edcor location closer to your residence
• PASCO has English and Spanish BLS Student Manuals for you to borrow during class
• If you have difficulty registering for a course, please reach out to Becca Bordner at becca.bordner@pascohh.com
• Edcor offers classes in Thornton, Denver Tech Center, and Colorado Springs, which you are welcome to register for if they are closer to your home
• Edcor will hold a class for Spanish speakers at the PASCO office, as needed

FAQs:

Q: Does PASCO require me to renew my certification?
A: CPR renewal is not required but is highly recommended by our clinical staff. Obtaining CPR certification is only required once, within the first 6 months of hire.

Q: Do I have to take one of PASCO’s courses?
A: You may receive CPR certification at another location, but MUST be a course that is AHA-approved.

Q: I went somewhere else for my CPR certification. Can I get reimbursed?
A: Yes! PASCO will reimburse up to $75 for courses taken outside of PASCO. These courses MUST be AHA-approved. To receive reimbursement, please send a photo of your certification and your receipt to support@pascohh.com.

Q: Can we only register for Edcor classes at the PASCO office?
A: No – Edcor offers classes in Thornton, Denver Tech Center, and Colorado Springs, which you are welcome to register for if they are closer to your home.

Q: Which class do I sign up for?
A: If you have an unexpired certification from an AHA-approved provider, you will register for the BLS Renewal course. If you have never been CPR certified, have an expired certification, or have a certification that was provided by a non-AHA-approved provider, you will register for the BLS Provider course.

Q: Do I have to buy my own training manual?
A: No – PASCO has English and Spanish BLS Student Manuals for you to borrow during class.

Q: I am having trouble registering for a course. Who do I contact?
A: Please call EdCor directly for assistance with sign-ups. They can be reached at (303) 997-8695.

Q: The class I was interested in is full. What do I do?
A: We understand that classes fill up quickly, and we are always working on adding additional course offerings to ensure that all interested individuals may complete their certification. If your certification expires prior to the next available course, no worries – please register for the closest available date that works best for you. Please reach out to support with additional questions.
