Caregiver Involvement
As a replacement for CNA school, this benefit allows a PASCO nurse to confirm the caregiver’s ability to provide services.
IHSS is essentially CNA+, with additional care hours for tasks beyond the CNA scope of practice – e.g., catheter irrigation or medication administration.
The IRS provides an exemption from taxes for income earned by an eligible friend or family member performing IHSS activities while living in the home of the individual, creating additional financial benefits.
PASCO Involvement
We offer 24/7 support to clients on the IHSS program.
PASCO nurses are regularly available for assistance and conduct annual visits to confirm that the plan of care and environment remain appropriate. We handle all administrative functions; authorizations, HR support, scheduling, billing, backup support, and payroll.
Not quite sure what type of service is best for your unique situation? IHSS & CNA options can be confusing so we put together a guide to help you compare options.
