After completing her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy at the University of Evansville, Meghan went on to complete her clinical internship at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since receiving her MT-BC certification in 2015, Meghan has focused her work on children/adolescents with special needs and complex medical diagnoses.
Her experiences include a variety of ages, ranging from infants to older adults. She also has experiences with multiple diagnoses including but not limited to: Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Spina Bifida, Anxiety, Rett Syndrome, and a number of rare genetic disorders. Meghan is also a certified NICU-MT, having completed the coursework set forth
by the National Institute for Infant & Child Medical Music Therapy at Florida State University. Meghan is passionate about adapting music therapy interventions and techniques to meet clients where they are, and help them meet their full potential inside and outside of music therapy sessions.
Meghan is the coordinator for Music Together® services at The Therapy Center. Mixed-ages music groups, birth-5 years old, are offered in both Thornton and Greenwood Village locations and separate from waiver services.
