After completing her Bachelors of Music in Music Therapy at the University of Evansville, Meghan went on to complete her clinical internship at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since becoming an MT-BC, Meghan has worked for years with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on the Indiana Medicaid waiver.
Her experiences include a variety of ages, ranging from infants to older adults. She also has experiences with multiple diagnoses including but not limited to: Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Spina Bifida, Anxiety, Rett Syndrome, and a number of rare genetic disorders. Meghan is also a certified NICU-MT, having completed the coursework set forth by the National Institute for Infant & Child Medical Music Therapy at Florida State University. Meghan is passionate about adapting music therapy interventions and techniques to meet clients where they are at, and help them meet their full potential within and outside of music therapy sessions.
