Walk with Autism and Resource Fair
The Annual Autism Society of Colorado’s Walk with Autism and Resource Fair is about two weeks away! This is the largest local walk and all proceeds stay right here in Colorado to support our Autism Community.
Supporting our walk allows us to:
- Offer free support and social groups throughout Colorado
- Provide free information and referral services for all people
- Strengthen our education program, advocacy and policy work for the Colorado Autism Community
- Offer low cost inclusive family events
Registration is $20 and includes a walk t-shirt for the first 500 registrants. Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a belt bag and a reusable water bottle.
There will be a free Autism Resource Fair with over 80 organizations ready to share their programs and products, with free samples and giveaways.
We will have food trucks to purchase food and water provided on the course. Move and groove with our Silent Disco and the Feel the Beat vibrating dance floor. Explore the new Chrysler Sensory Van and take a break in the Sensory Bus from the Autism Community Store. All your favorite superheroes and movie characters will be in attendance. This event is 100% for the Colorado Autism Community!
Day of Walk Details:
Parking– there is plenty of free street parking around the park with some spots available at Centennial Elementary School.
Schedule– Resource Fair is open from 10:00am-1:00pm. 1 mile walk begins at 10:15am and the course remains open so everyone can participate in a way that is meaningful. We welcome all varieties of strollers, wagons, chairs and scooters.
Sensory Support– We know that large events can be stressful for people. This event has plenty of open space with areas of quiet to get away from the main event and out of the heat. This event is planned with plenty of time so plan to take as much time as you need to feel comfortable.
