CareVoyant Central
Bringing you the latest CareVoyant news, new features, and more!
As spring approaches, we look forward to the year ahead in CareVoyant! We are excited to announce that all IHSS and PPCW caregivers are officially fully integrated into CareVoyant. We are working hard to prepare for our next group of caregivers, our Family CNA caregivers, to transition to the platform. We are so thankful for your kind words and feedback as we navigate this transition process – we couldn’t do it without your support!
Hello! We wanted to thank our amazing caregivers for their feedback on the new system. We strive to Care for the Caregiver™ in all that we do, and this includes making CareVoyant the best possible platform for you all. Whether it was positive feedback or suggestions on how to improve, we have taken those statements all into consideration and have been working hard on some updates that will improve the overall CareVoyant experience. Thanks to your feedback, we have some exciting new improvements that you will find upon your next login to CareVoyant!
New Attestation Location – Prior to this new update, caregivers were required to complete the fraud attestation after submitting each visit. This greatly increased the number of total screens and clicks that were required to complete your timesheets. With this new feature, you will only have to do so once per log-in! The attestation screen will immediately pop up upon login.
Updated Task Options – We have adjusted the way your care plans are displayed within the platform. Instead of a “yes” or “no” prompt when answering if tasks were completed, there will be the option for “performed” or “not performed” in its place. When selecting “not performed”, you will no longer have to open a separate pop-up to input the reason. This will now be provided directly below the task. This reduces the number of screens that need to load when completing tasks, improving speed and ease of use.
Default Start and End Times* – Your visit start and end times will automatically default to the scheduled date and start and end times noted in your schedule. You will still be able to change the times to the actual current time if needed. This will eliminate the need to change the date when you are not documenting in real-time.
*Applicable only to non-EVV users
Combined Signature and Complete Visit Screens – In this update, we have combined the “sign” and “complete” visit steps and are now both completed on the same page. You will now be able to mark the “end visit” check box, change the visit times (if applicable), and click the sign button all without loading additional pages. You will no longer need to visit an additional page in order to sign your clinical note.
We are excited to bring you a quicker, improved CareVoyant experience. We are always looking for caregiver feedback regarding this system, so please do not hesitate to reach out! Please contact our support team by clicking here, emailing support@pascohh.com or at (303) 233-3122 with any questions or feedback. Thank you!
Hey PASCO family! I am excited to announce another awesome addition to our CareVoyant updates. These will be launching SOON (keep an eye out in your inbox for details next week!) and we cannot wait to bring these improved features to life.
Our newest update that will be brought to CareVoyant is for our caregivers who do not use Electronic Visit Verification, or EVV. These folks will soon have less of a manual process when entering visit times. Once launched, visit start and end times will automatically default to the scheduled date and start and end times noted in your schedule. You will still be able to change the times to the actual current time if needed. This will eliminate the need to change the date when you are not documenting in real time. We hope this added convenience, in addition to the other awesome updates coming to your CareVoyant experience soon, will make your overall experience all the more enjoyable. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with feedback or feature ideas you may have! Your experiences are crucial for us to gain a better understanding of how to make this system the best one possible for our caregivers.
We hope you all had a relaxing holiday with loved ones and wish you an amazing new year! We are excited to announce that we are still on track to launch our upcoming updates in January. These updates will make your CareVoyant experience a quicker and simpler one, and we cannot wait to bring you these changes. Keep an eye out in your email this month for more new feature information, instructions on use, and more!
As we continue to use our new system, your feedback is crucial to us. It allows us to better understand what’s working well, what features you love, or some areas where you feel that CareVoyant could be better. If you have any questions, comments, or feedback you’d like to give us, please do not hesitate to reach out! To do so, please submit a support form and our team will be sure to log your feedback accordingly and will assist with anything you may need. Thank you!
Hello! My name is Chris and I am the Director of Technology here at PASCO. Our awesome team has been leading the charge in bringing CareVoyant to our caregivers.
I wanted to update you on the two features previously announced in CareVoyant Central: consolidated attestations and improved task completion. The CareVoyant team is working hard on bringing these updates to life and these features are scheduled to be released on time. Our main goal is to allow you to complete your timesheets more quickly and with more ease and we cannot wait to hear your feedback when these features launch.
On top of these upcoming updates, we have one more to add! For those who are live-in caregivers, you will soon have an easier time updating the start and end times of your scheduled visits. Instead of the start time of a visit automatically adjusting to your current time when logging a visit, it will adjust to the scheduled start time and end times according to your schedule. For example, we know that sometimes days can get extra busy and morning visits we not logged until later that evening. We understand completely and are here to make that process easier! Instead of logging your current, later time when filling in that visit, our system will automatically adjust to the start time of that morning visit. Our goal is for you to have to make fewer adjustments and to make your timekeeping experience quicker and simpler. This, as well as the two updates mentioned above, are scheduled to release in early 2023!
Hi there! Laura Glass here, I am the Client Service Lead at PASCO. I wanted to share with you one of my favorite features that we have added since the CareVoyant launch. The addition of allowing caregivers to cancel visits directly in the platform has been awesome. We received feedback that our previous process had the potential to be time-consuming and could be improved. This turned into an awesome system that allows caregivers to cancel visits wherever and whenever they need to – all in their CareVoyant app! I love that this platform allows us to consistently make improvements and changes that make timekeeping simpler so you can get back to what matters most – caring for your loved one. My team has been loving all of the features CareVoyant provides that make reports and data even easier to gather, allowing us to make smarter decisions when caring for our caregivers. We look forward to seeing the system continue to evolve and improve over time!
We continue to prioritize the feedback we are receiving from our caregivers. Special shoutout to the caregiver who came to us mentioning that having to complete the fraud attestation was causing her to feel like completing visits was taking longer than needed. We hear you and are excited to announce that we are working on an update that will allow caregivers only to have to complete an attestation once per session. This means that instead of completing this step every single time you complete a visit, you will only have to do so once per log-in! This will be a huge help in reducing load time issues as well as allowing you to log your visits in fewer clicks. We look forward to sharing this new update with you when it launches in early 2023! Thank you to our caregivers for letting us know what would make your CareVoyant experience better and please continue to do so.
Hello PASCO family! We are excited to bring you an upcoming update that will improve the user experience in CareVoyant. We will be adjusting the way your care plans are displayed within the platform. Instead of a “yes” or “no” prompt when answering if tasks were completed, there will be the option for “performed” or “not performed” in its place. When selecting “not performed”, you will no longer have to open a separate pop-up to input the reason! This will now be provided directly below the task. This reduces the number of screens that need to load when completing tasks, improving speed and ease of use. This feature will be available in early 2023 – we will update you all when this feature goes live.
Happy Holidays! We are excited to bring you CareVoyant Central, our hub for CV updates. First of all, I wanted to thank our amazing caregivers for their feedback on the new system. We strive to Care for the Caregiver in all that we do, and this includes making CareVoyant the best possible platform for you all. Whether it was positive feedback or suggestions on how to improve, we have taken those statements all into consideration and have been working hard on some updates that will improve the overall CareVoyant experience. One of the primary suggestions we have heard from our caregivers is that they are experiencing longer than expected load times and have to complete a high number of “clicks” in order to complete their visits. We have prioritized addressing these issues and have some exciting updates that are set to be completed in early 2023. Keep an eye out on this page for more information!

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is CareVoyant?
A: CareVoyant is an electronic health record (EHR) system that will be the comprehensive platform for timekeeping, documenting your visit, viewing schedules and care plans, submitting documentation, and more. CareVoyant will be the primary timekeeping system for all PASCO caregivers, with the exception of those using Therap to record IDD services.
Q: Is CareVoyant similar to my old timekeeping system? What’s different?
A: CareVoyant will collect the same visit information as PASS or CareWatch, as required by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment. We are excited for an enhanced caregiving experience with options for mobile timekeeping and documentation, secure messaging to your care team, as well as real-time schedule changes. There will still be an option for timekeeping and documentation using a telephony service, based on your preference.
Q: Will the system change?
A: Yes, but only to bring new and improved features to caregivers. We have dedicated members of the CareVoyant development team to work on useful additions to the platform that creates a better user experience. Caregivers will be updated on any new features via email as they become available. For example, the CareVoyant team worked hard to make visit cancellations possible through the web app in a recent update. Caregivers now may cancel visits on their own, allowing for more flexibility in their timekeeping.
